What is the Referendum?
Why a referendum?
Everyone speaks in the name of the people of Israel. Yet nobody allows the nation of Israel to actually vote directly on this key issue of disengagement which affects the very foundation of the State of Israel.

We want the voice of the people to be heard - Let noone speak in our name, without asking us what our position is.
Why in Sderot first?
The government of Israel is planning to surrender Gush Katif and other areas. The plan has already had a very adverse affect on the security of Sderot, introducing Sderot to ongoing and increased Kassam attacks.

The residents of Sderot are the most affected by the pullout from Gaza and therefore will be the first to be polled.

"Nobody cares what you think?"

Not true! Experience from all over the world shows that no government can ignore public opinion forever. Things that are repeated enough eventually penetrate into the national debate and influence it. What we say today will come true tomorrow. The policy decisions of this government directly effect your life and the lives of your loved ones. You must not be silent. You must not stand on the sidelines. If you will not fight for yourself who will fight for you?
